The New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers both limped away from the Superdome.
The Saints lost starting cornerback Jabari Greer with what appeared to be a serious injury to his left leg in Sunday's 23-20 win. He was hurt in the first quarter and the team quickly ruled him out for the rest of the game.
Greer jumped to break up a pass, but landed awkwardly. He twisted his ankle and his knee appeared to buckle.
Greer was taken to the locker room on a cart, waving as fans cheered.
The Niners also lost a cornerback when Tarell Brown was carted off in the second quarter with a bruised rib. He was hurt while tackling the Saints' Pierre Thomas near the goal line.
San Francisco guard Mike Iupati left late with an apparent injury to his left knee and was on crutches after the game.
Philadelphia running back LeSean McCoy was more fortunate.
The NFL's leading rusher exited after hurting his right hamstring on a 16-yard run in the second quarter. He returned in the second half of a 28-16 win over Washington.
McCoy appeared trapped for no gain, but juked his way loose before going down. He grabbed the back of his leg while he was on the ground and slowly walked off the field. He was examined by doctors on the sideline before heading to the locker room.
McCoy scored two touchdowns, one in each half.
Redskins tight end Jordan Reed left in the third quarter because of a concussion and defensive end Stephen Bowen and wide receiver Leonard Hankerson were finished by with knee injuries.
Chicago Bears defensive tackle Stephen Paea was forced to leave in the first half because of a toe injury in a 23-20 win over Baltimore. He'd already missed two games this season because of a toe problem.
Atlanta backup quarterback Dominique Davis limped off in the fourth quarter of a 41-28 loss at Tampa Bay, giving starter Matt Ryan a chance to add to his total of touchdown passes.
Ryan had been pulled with the Falcons far behind. His former Boston College teammate - Davis - took over but got hurt and was set for an MRI.
Ryan came back into the game and threw a TD pass in the closing minutes.
