JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -Jacksonville's Matt Jones, the Jaguars' leading receiver, was inactive against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, missing the game because a thigh injury.
Jones leads the Jaguars with 50 catches for 586 yards and two touchdowns. Jerry Porter, the team's top offseason acquisition, started in his place.
Jacksonville also was without two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle John Henderson (knee) and receiver Troy Williamson (groin). Henderson missed his second straight game because of a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee.
The Titans were without starting cornerback Nick Harper (ankle), defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch (groin) and receiver Justin McCareins (concussion).
Harper injured his ankle last week at Chicago. Vanden Bosch, who also missed last week's game, has battled a groin injury since Oct. 5.
