INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -The Indianapolis Colts have deactivated two former starting offensive linemen for Sunday night’s game against New England.
Tony Ugoh, a second-round pick in 2007, and guard Mike Pollak, a second-rounder in 2008, will not play. Neither was listed with an injury on this week’s practice report.
Kicker Adam Vinatieri, receiver Anthony Gonzalez and cornerback Kelvin Hayden are all out with injuries. The Colts other inactives are defensive back Aaron Francisco and tight end Tom Santi.
Rookie Curtis Painter will be Peyton Manning’s backup after Jim Sorgi hurt his throwing shoulder in practice this week. Sorgi is listed as the No. 3 quarterback.
The Patriots have not yet announced their inactives.
