SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) -Receiver Ashley Lelie will miss the San Francisco 49ers' game against St. Louis after straining his quadriceps in practice Wednesday.
Lelie, who signed with San Francisco as a free agent in the offseason, has just seven receptions for 90 yards, getting more than half of his yardage on a 47-yard catch against the New York Giants. Rookie Jason Hill and veteran Bryan Gilmore are expected to get more playing time in Lelie's absence.
