PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook says he’s a go for Sunday’s game against the San Diego Chargers.
Westbrook practiced twice this week and appears fully recovered from the concussion that caused him to miss two games.
Westbrook was injured Oct. 26 after taking a knee to the helmet during a run against the Washington Redskins. He missed the Eagles win over the New York Giants and appeared likely to play last week against Dallas, but sat out after getting a headache late in the week.
Eagles coach Andy Reid says Westbrook will rotate with rookie LeSean McCoy, who has started in his place.
In five games this season, Westbrook has averaged 4.8 yards on 41 carries and caught 17 passes. He’s scored two touchdowns.
