TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt is brushing aside wide receiver Anquan Boldin’s critical comments that followed the Cardinals’ 41-21 victory at Chicago.
Boldin, who missed all but a day of practice after he aggravated a high right ankle sprain in the previous game, said he warmed up, felt good and expected to play, only to find that all his gear had been removed from his locker.
Whisenhunt says he told Boldin shortly after the list of inactive players was submitted.
The coach gave the players Monday off and says Boldin’s attitude doesn’t concern him at all. In fact, Whisenhunt says he likes that Boldin is so tough and competitive and was upset about not playing.
