NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -How long the Tennessee Titans and Randy Moss stay together remains to be seen. For now, Jeff Fisher is thinking playoffs and the Super Bowl that has eluded the NFL’s longest tenured coach with his current team.
Fisher said Monday he is thinking past just the eight games left for the Titans (5-3) this season. The contract extension Moss has been seeking most of this year won’t be on the table until after the season.
The coach says it’s good fit for the Titans and Moss. Fisher says “I don’t have a ring” and Moss “doesn’t have a ring” so “we’re going to try” and get one together.
Moss arrived early Monday at the Titans, and Fisher says the receiver passed a physical, worked out and met with coaches to start learning the offense.
