FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -Coach Bill Belichick didn’t have to use much foul language when the Patriots met to review their worst loss of the year.
New England wide receiver Deion Branch said Monday players already knew how poorly they had played in Sunday’s 34-14 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He said Belichick didn’t single out any player or curse a lot.
Branch said the Patriots had poor practices last week that indicated the team might have trouble. But tight end Alge Crumpler said he’s been on teams that won after practicing poorly and lost after practicing well. The loss dropped the Patriots into a first-place in the AFC East with the New York Jets at 6-2. New England visits the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
