MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf has declined to address the job status of coach Brad Childress.
Wilf spoke to the media briefly Sunday before the game against Arizona after a week of tumult has Childress facing questions about his job security. Childress cut receiver Randy Moss on Monday and several reports surfaced of clashes between the players and coach.
Wilf says he “has nothing to say about that.”
Childress was booed loudly when he took the field for pregame warmups. Wilf went up and shook his hand and had a brief conversation with him. Wilf says “the big thing is getting a win right now.” He promised the 2-5 team would fight hard for the rest of the season.
