ATLANTA (AP) -Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White left Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay with a right knee injury.
White, who leads the NFL with 56 catches, was injured in the first quarter during an 11-yard reception. He returned to the game briefly before he was taken to the locker room by a team doctor midway through the second period.
Center Todd McClure walked to the locker room later in the second with a knee injury. McClure, the longest tenured Falcon at 12 years, has made a franchise-record 136 consecutive starts.
White beat cornerback Ronde Barber to the ball, but was tripped and then seemed to twist his knee as linebacker Quincy Black tackled him near the sideline.
