EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -Riding a three-game losing streak, the New York Giants are making a lineup change for Sunday’s game against the San Diego Chargers.
Coach Tom Coughlin announced on Friday that Aaron Rouse will replace the beleaguered C.C. Brown at safety.
Brown had gotten the job in September after Kenny Phillips was placed on injured reserve following knee surgery.
During the losing streak, Brown has been beaten twice on deep passes for touchdowns, including a 54-yard touchdown play to DeSean Jackson late in the first half. Brown did not hear a defensive audible on the play, leaving Jackson wide open.
