CINCINNATI (AP) – Quarterback Carson Palmer was in the starting lineup for the Bengals despite being limited in practice during the week with a sore hip. He had been listed as probable.
However, the Bengals were without cornerback Johnathan Joseph for a game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Joseph was inactive for the second straight game with an ankle injury.
Cincinnati already was missing third cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones, out for the rest of the season with a neck injury. Morgan Trent, who also was limited last week in practice because of a sore knee, took Joseph’s place at cornerback.
