NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -The Tennessee Titans replaced long snapper Ken Amato on Tuesday by signing fullback and long snapper Jeremy Cain to the roster.
The Titans lost Amato to a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee late in Sunday’s 13-9 victory over Oakland. They already had Cain on the practice squad, signing him last week.
The 6-foot-1, 240-pound Cain was in training camp with Philadelphia. He spent two seasons with the Chicago Bears, playing in eight games as a linebacker with eight tackles. He played in NFL Europa in 2006, where he had 38 tackles for the Amsterdam Admirals.
