EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) – Brett Favre is listed as questionable for Minnesota’s game Sunday at New England.
Favre was on the field for drills Friday, the first time this week. He had a wrap on his left ankle, which has two fractures, threatening his ability to play.
Favre threw a few easy passes in warmups, but he didn’t roll out or take any deep dropbacks while reporters were allowed to watch. Vikings coach Brad Childress wouldn’t discuss Favre’s mobility after practice, and the coach said he’ll probably wait until the last hours before game time to decide whether Favre’s NFL-record streak of 291 straight games started will continue.
The 41-year-old quarterback has both a stress fracture and an avulsion fracture in the foot, which was hurt in last Sunday’s loss at Green Bay.
