DAVIE, Fla. (AP) – The Miami Dolphins are miffed about another officiating decision involving a play late in their loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The NFL determined Thursday that the Dolphins’ final play, originally ruled a fourth-down incompletion by quarterback Chad Henne, was instead an interception by James Harrison.
The Dolphins appealed to the league to have the midweek statistical reversal reversed, believing an incompletion was the correct ruling.
Either way, the play sealed the Steelers’ victory. They then ran out the clock with three kneel-downs and won 23-22 Sunday.
