ST. LOUIS (AP) -St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson, who returned to the lineup on Sunday after missing a month with a groin injury, was sidelined by back pain in the second quarter.
Jackson scored on a 2-yard run, his first touchdown of the season, on the Rams’ first drive against the Cleveland Browns. He had 41 yards on eight carries before leaving the game.
Brian Leonard, the team’s second-round pick this year, replaced Jackson in the lineup. Leonard made all four starts while Jackson was sidelined.
