LANDOVER, Md. (AP) -The Monday night game pits stability vs. changeability.
The Philadelphia Eagles have been riding the coach-quarterback duo of Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb for a decade, while the Washington Redskins have had six head coaches and more than a half-dozen so-called No. 1 quarterbacks during that same period of time.
The latest change for the Redskins is new play caller Sherm Lewis, who joined the team less than three weeks ago. At least the players know one thing that won’t change soon – the front office said Friday that coach Jim Zorn will stick around at least through the end of the season.
The Redskins are 2-4, but they’ve played a very soft schedule. The Eagles are 3-2, having stumbled last week against Oakland.
