NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Tennessee Titans starting defensive tackle Tony Brown missed Friday’s practice with an ankle injury, but said he expects to play Monday night against Indianapolis.
Brown, listed as questionable, was held out of practice as a precaution when the Titans moved their workout indoors to field turf in their practice bubble. Brown missed the game at Kansas City last Sunday with a right ankle injury.
“I’m feeling good. Everything is cool, and I’ll be out there Monday,” Brown said.
Other Titans who sat out Friday’s practice included starting defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch, who missed a third straight day with a groin injury. Vanden Bosch did some work on the side as he tries to make his 55th straight regular-season start Monday night. Vanden Bosch is listed as questionable.
Starting wide receiver Justin McCareins missed practice again with a hamstring injury and is questionable. Cornerback Nick Harper was held out of practice with a day of rest because of the move indoors.
“It was just a country club day,” Harper said.
