DAVIE, Fla. (AP) – Miami Dolphins first-round draft pick Jared Odrick has sustained a foot injury that might sideline him the rest of the season.
Odrick was on the verge of returning from a broken right leg when he hurt his left foot at the end of practice Wednesday. The Dolphins haven’t decided whether to put the defensive end on injured reserve, which would end his season.
Odrick worked with the first team from the start of training camp but has been sidelined since he sustained a slight leg fracture in the season opener. Odrick’s absence has meant more playing time for Tony McDaniel and Paul Soliai on the defensive line.
The Dolphins (3-2) play host to Pittsburgh on Sunday.
