INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Indianapolis police have arrested Colts punter Pat McAfee after they found him swimming in a canal in a nightlife district.
Police arrested McAfee about 5 a.m. Wednesday in Broad Ripple and took him to an arrestee processing center.
There’s no immediate word on charges, but WISH-TV reports he had a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 – nearly twice the legal limit.
WRTV said the 23-year-old, in his second year in the NFL, was pepper sprayed by police before he was transported from the scene.
