PHILADELPHIA (AP) -An offensive line that at one point was missing four of its five projected starters is slowing coming together for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Andy Reid ruled out only Todd Herremans (foot) for this week, but said his left guard is close to getting back on the field.
Herremans’ return would leave right tackle Shawn Andrews, out for the year with a back injury, as the only expected starter on the offensive line who is not available. Winston Justice replaced Andrews.
The line’s improved health is just in time. After Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders (1-4), the Eagles (3-1) get into their NFC East schedule: at Washington before hosting the Giants and Cowboys in consecutive weeks.
