Running back Jesse Chatman, back from his four-game suspension for violating the NFL's steroids and related-substances policy, was active for the Jets. Starting safety Eric Smith was out, serving his one-game ban for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Arizona wide receiver Anquan Boldin two weeks ago.
inactive for the Jets for the fourth straight game with a strained right thigh, and was replaced again by Jay Feely. Also inactive for the Jets were quarterback Erik Ainge, wide receiver David Clowney, cornerback Justin Miller, offensive lineman Will Montgomery, linebacker Marques Murrell and defensive lineman Kareem Brown.
