FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) -New York Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery was limited at practice with a hamstring injury that isn’t expected to sideline him for the team’s game at Miami on Monday night.
“We expect Jerricho, obviously, to play,” coach Rex Ryan said Thursday.
Also limited were safety Kerry Rhodes (knee) and cornerback Lito Sheppard (right quadriceps). Sheppard has missed the last two games with the injury, but has been improving.
“I’m not positive he’ll play for sure,” Ryan said. “He’s moving pretty well.”
Cornerback Donald Strickland (right ankle) and right tackle Damien Woody (right foot) didn’t participate in practice. Strickland hasn’t practiced since being injured in the victory over New England in Week 2.
