EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) – Randy Moss is back where it all began.
The star receiver practiced with the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday, one day after he was acquired in a trade from the New England Patriots.
With owners Zygi and Mark Wilf watching from the sidelines, Moss caught passes from Brett Favre and talked to offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell as he gets ready for Monday night’s road game against the New York Jets.
Moss was wearing his familiar white No. 84 practice jersey. He spent his first seven seasons in Minnesota, where he emerged as the best deep threat in the league. He was traded to Oakland in 2005 and spent the last three seasons with the Patriots before being dealt back to the Vikings on Wednesday.
