FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -Josh McDaniels spent two seasons working with the New England Patriots defense so he knew what he was up against when he became quarterbacks coach.
Now, as head coach of the unbeaten Broncos (4-0), he should have a good idea of what he’ll face when Denver hosts Tom Brady and the Patriots (3-1) on Sunday.
McDaniels was coordinator of that offense for three years before moving to Denver. For Brady, knowing what to expect doesn’t always lead to success.
“They may have information, we have information,” he said Wednesday. “When you’re out there, what you see is what you see, and that’s what you’ve got to react to no matter what they say in the meeting before the game.”
