FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) – Darrelle Revis says Randy Moss put “his foot on the brake” the last time the New York Jets played against him, adding some spice to the team’s game against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night.
Revis was limited at practice, but hopes to play after missing the last 2 1/2 games with a strained left hamstring. He says Wednesday that Moss came out “full force” in the first half of the Jets’ 28-14 win over the New England Patriots in Week 2.
He adds that Moss doesn’t always play 100 percent, and it was noticeable from his body language in the second half – after Revis went out – that the then-Patriots receiver wasn’t giving a full effort.
Moss was traded to the Vikings on Wednesday, and is expected to play against the Jets.
