FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) – Janna Robinson doesn’t need another Randy Moss jersey, even at its new bargain price.
The New England Patriots fan can pull her old purple No. 84 out of the closet now that one of her favorite players is back with the Minnesota Vikings. She was browsing in the Patriots Pro Shop after Moss was traded Wednesday morning. She said Moss played well with quarterback Tom Brady but won’t play well if he’s not happy.
The price of Moss’ jerseys were marked down soon after the trade.
The Patriots must move on without their only proven deep threat. Brandon Tate, a third-round draft pick last year, likely will start in place of Moss.
New England has a bye week before facing the Baltimore Ravens on Oct. 17 in Foxborough.
