RENTON, Wash. (AP) -Coach Jim Mora had an odd proclamation after his Seahawks’ latest loss.
The eternal optimist says to “call me crazy,” but he sees great things on the horizon for his team despite a blowout loss at Indianapolis.
Seattle has lost three straight and is 1-3 for the second consecutive season.
The Seahawks are three games out of the NFC West lead, given it has already lost to division-leading San Francisco (3-1).
Mora’s optimism is based upon his team’s return to health. Mora said Monday he expects quarterback Matt Hasselbeck to test his broken rib in practice on Wednesday in hopes the three-time Pro Bowl passer can play Sunday against Jacksonville (2-2).
