CLEVELAND (AP) -Browns running back Jamal Lewis and kicker Phil Dawson were inactive for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Lewis (hamstring) and Dawson (calf), who did not practice this week, also missed last Sunday’s game in Baltimore.
The winless Browns are thin at running back after placing rookie James Davis on injured reserve Saturday. They signed Chris Jennings from their practice squad and picked up kicker Billy Cundiff last week.
The Bengals (2-1) will be without three starters: defensive tackle Tank Johnson, safety Roy Williams and offensive guard Nate Livings.
