NEW ORLEANS (AP) – With safety Roman Harper already out, two more New Orleans safeties were hurt during the Saints’ game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Pierson Prioleau started in Harper’s place but went out with a chest injury while covering a kick in the first half.
In the third quarter, Reis hurt his right shoulder, also while covering a kick.
Saints officials said both players were questionable to return.
That left the Saints with two safeties, starter Malcolm Jenkins and reserve Usama Young.
