CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -Jordan Gross' streak of 84 consecutive starts for the Carolina Panthers will end, while fellow starting tackle Jeff Otah is doubtful for Sunday's against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Gross has started every game since coming to Carolina in 2003, but was ruled out Friday by coach John Fox. Gross was knocked unconscious during last Sunday's win over Atlanta and did not practice all week.
Otah has a sprained right ankle and missed his third straight practice on Friday. Fox rarely starts players who have missed all week of practice.
