FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) -New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis and safeties Kerry Rhodes and Jim Leonhard fully participated in practice and appear set to play against the New Orleans Saints.
It was encouraging news for the Jets on Thursday after Revis (hamstring) and Rhodes (knee) were limited Wednesday, while Leonhard (knee) didn’t practice. The Jets will surely need all three starters Sunday against Drew Brees and the Saints’ top-ranked offense.
Cornerbacks Lito Sheppard (right quadriceps) and Donald Strickland (right ankle) didn’t practice again, and coach Rex Ryan said “they’re iffy, especially Strickland.”
Linebacker Larry Izzo (hamstring) and offensive lineman Wayne Hunter (personal reasons) also returned to practice.
