INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Peyton Manning has spent the past decade taking snaps from Jeff Saturday.
So it’s only natural that the two guys go into history together Sunday.
With Manning set to make his 195th consecutive regular-season start and Saturday expected to be with him at Jacksonville, the two will become the longest-running quarterback-center tandem in NFL history with 158 career starts together. They are currently tied with Buffalo’s Jim Kelly and Kent Hull for No. 1 all-time.
And Colts President Bill Polian, who put both tandems together, says it’s no coincidence that the four men share more than the current mark.
