EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -New York Giants starting right tackle Kareem McKenzie has a sprained right knee and his status for this weekend’s game in Kansas City against the winless Chiefs is uncertain.
McKenzie, who has not missed a start since Nov. 5, 2006, said his knee was “wonderful” as he walked into the locker room on Monday.
Starting left guard Rich Seubert injured his right shoulder in the 24-0 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, but coach Tom Coughlin thinks he will play.
Coughlin said Monday cornerbacks Aaron Ross and Kevin Dockery, out the first three games with hamstring injuries, are expected to practice this week. Rookie receiver Hakeem Nicks (foot), out the past two weeks, also expects to return to work for the Giants (3-0).
