DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -While the Miami Dolphins await test results on injured quarterback Chad Pennington, teammates are braced for the possibility he won’t be back soon.
Pennington underwent tests Monday his right shoulder, which he hurt early in the third quarter of Sunday’s 23-13 loss at San Diego. He missed the rest of the game, and coach Tony Sparano says he doesn’t know how long Pennington will be sidelined.
Sparano says a return this week is possible. The winless Dolphins play host to Buffalo on Sunday.
