OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -Oakland Raiders right guard Cooper Carlisle and nickelback Stanford Routt missed Sunday’s game against the San Diego Chargers with sprained ankles.
Running back Darren McFadden (turf toe), cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (elbow) and defensive tackle Gerard Warren (pectoral muscle) all were active despite coming into the day as game-time decisions.
Carlisle was replaced by Chris Morris, who made his first career NFL start. Chris Johnson was expected to take Routt’s place as the third cornerback.
The other Raiders inactive for the game were running back Justin Fargas, receiver Todd Watkins, tight end Ben Troupe and offensive linemen James Marten and Seth Wand. Marques Tuiasosopo was the third quarterback for the game.
For San Diego, starting center Nick Hardwick returned after missing the first three games to rehab his surgically repaired right foot. Former Raiders center Jeremy Newberry returned to a backup role.
