TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -Injured New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck was active for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, however he was replaced in the starting lineup by backup Mathias Kiwanuka.
Tuck hurt his left shoulder last Sunday night against Dallas when tripped by tackle Flozell Adams. He did not practice all week, and coach Tom Coughlin had said Friday he was 50-50 to play against Tampa Bay.
Receiver Antonio Bryant, who sat out Tampa Bay’s loss to Buffalo the previous week because of a sore knee, was active and started for the Bucs.
New York’s inactives included running back Danny Ware, cornerbacks Aaron Ross and Kevin Dockery, tackle Adam Koets, receivers Domenik Hixon and Hakeem Nicks, linebacker Clint Sintim and defensive lineman Chris Canty.
