PITTSBURGH (AP) -Pittsburgh Steelers safety Tyrone Carter practiced Friday despite a bruised left thigh and is expected to play Sunday in Cincinnati.
Carter, replacing the injured Troy Polamalu, was hurt during a 17-14 loss at Chicago last Sunday and did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. Ryan Mundy filled in for Carter during the two days he didn’t practice.
Steelers linebacker James Harrison was held out of practice Friday due to illness but also is expected to play. Wide receiver Limas Sweed, who missed the Bears game with a sprained foot, practiced all week.
