BEREA, Ohio (AP) -Cleveland Browns running back Jamal Lewis is still nursing an injured hamstring.
Lewis, who got hurt during last week’s loss in Denver, missed his third straight practice on Friday and may miss Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, his former team. The Browns will update their injury report later Friday.
If Lewis is out, rookie James Davis and Jerome Harrison likely will split the carries against the NFL’s leading defense against the run.
Davis was impressive in preseason games but sustained a shoulder injury in the season opener against Minnesota and was inactive last week. Harrison missed the opener with a knee injury.
The durable Lewis has played in at least 15 games in each of the past three seasons.
