FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -The New England Patriots signed wide receiver Maurice Price, added offensive lineman Ryan Wendell to their practice squad and released defensive back Mark Dillard on Wednesday.
Price missed all last season with a clavicle injury after signing with Kansas City in May 2007 as a rookie free agent out of Charleston Southern. He was one of the inactive players for the Chiefs in their season-opening 17-10 loss to the Patriots.
He signed with Kansas City's practice squad after that game and released Friday.
