CINCINNATI (AP) - The Bengals' defense has a motto: Don't flinch.
It kept its cool on Sunday, allowing Cincinnati (2-1) to win a wild game at Paul Brown Stadium. The defense held up even when the Bengals' offense turned the ball over four times and scored the winning touchdown in a 34-30 victory over the high-powered Green Bay Packers.
Cincinnati's improving offense has been a focus all along, with newcomers Tyler Eifert and Giovani Bernard giving the passing game two new components. But the defense has been the most impressive during back-to-back wins over Pittsburgh and Green Bay.
Cornerback Terence Newman's 58-yard fumble return with 3:47 left put the Bengals ahead on Sunday. Aaron Rodgers' last pass was batted down.
The Bengals play at Cleveland (1-2) on Sunday.
