FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) – Wide receiver Wes Welker says it wasn’t much fun reviewing the New England Patriots’ loss to the New York Jets on Sunday.
The video showed two interceptions and a lost fumble by the Patriots, their scoreless second half and the career day for Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez against a young secondary in the 28-14 loss.
Linebacker Tully Banta-Cain had to relive his roughing the passer penalty that helped set up a touchdown and a 7-7 tie in the second quarter. He said Thursday that this week has been gloomier than normal for the team.
But he said the players and coach Bill Belichick are resilient and can’t dwell too much on Sunday’s game as they prepare for this Sunday’s matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
