BEREA, Ohio (AP) – Browns tight end Evan Moore thought he was OK after taking a vicious hit. Then the stadium started spinning.
Moore sustained a concussion in Sunday’s loss to Kansas City when he took a blow to the helmet from Chiefs rookie safety Kendrick Lewis in the third quarter. Moore came off the field, where he was met by Cleveland’s training staff.
Moore said he felt fine and was cleared to go back into the game two plays later, but felt dizzy running a pass route and took himself out of the game.
Moore has visited an independent doctor and said he has been symptom-free for a few days. He said he would never jeopardize his playing career or his intent to become a lawyer once he retires by playing with a head injury.
