ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) -Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz says there’s tangible proof of what the team is capable of doing this season.
Schwartz said Wednesday it is easier to correct mistakes when the team watches film and sees positive signs. They’ve run the ball against stacked defenses and slowed down Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson.
The coach and his players, though, say the lack of consistency has kept them winless.
Detroit (0-2) seems to have its best chance at earning a victory before November this Sunday against the Washington Redskins (1-1) and ending talk about its 19-game losing streak dating to the 2007 season.
