INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -Colts tight end Dallas Clark set a franchise record. Receiver Pierre Garcon made his first NFL touchdown a game-winner.
Now the two could have an even bigger hand in the offense.
The Colts couldn’t have asked for a stronger performance from Clark and Garcon, who were terrific in Monday night’s victory at Miami.
Their roles have become more important with receiver Anthony Gonzalez out up to eight weeks because of a right knee injury. Gonzalez, a former first-round pick who was expected to replace Marvin Harrison this season, was hurt in the season-opener.
The Colts play at Arizona on Sunday night.
