EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) – Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall has injured his right ankle in the second quarter against the New York Jets, and is questionable to return.
The Bears initially said Marshall, who was questionable for the game Monday night with the ankle ailing, was probable to return. But the star receiver headed to the locker room midway through the quarter.
Marshall was injured during a 6-yard end-around run by wide receiver Alshon Jeffery. Marshall had yet to make a reception in the game.
Bears fullback Tony Fiammetta also injured a hamstring and has been ruled out for the rest of the game.
