CLEVELAND (AP) -Browns guard Eric Steinbach didn’t make the trip to Baltimore because of a shoulder injury and won’t play Sunday against the Ravens.
Steinbach missed all week of practice and was downgraded from questionable to out on Saturday when the Browns flew to Maryland.
Steinbach’s loss is another blow to Cleveland’s offense, which has produced just one touchdown in eight quarters after scoring 402 points last season. The six-year veteran has missed just one start in 81 career NFL games.
With Steinbach out, Seth McKinney will likely start at left guard. The Browns could have Ryan Tucker, who has experience at guard and tackle, available for the first time this season. He recently returned to practice after undergoing hip surgery in June.
Sept. 7 opener against Dallas.
