FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) – New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker sat out practice and cornerback Dee Milliner was limited Thursday, leaving their status uncertain for the team’s game against the Chicago Bears on Monday night.
Decker is dealing with tightness in his right hamstring after he aggravated an injury from training camp in the Jets’ loss to the Packers last Sunday. Coach Rex Ryan says Thursday he would like to see Decker ”test it” during practice at some point this week, but indicated that the wide receiver could still play even if he doesn’t get on the field before Monday night.
Ryan says Milliner looked ”OK” as the cornerback recovers from a high ankle sprain that hasn’t fully healed. He missed the season opener, but played at Green Bay in a limited role.
