ASHBURN, Va. (AP) -Redskins left tackle Chris Samuels is probable for Washington’s game against the St. Louis Rams after taking part in the final practice of the week.
The player most limited in Friday’s workout was defensive tackle Anthony Montgomery, who has tendinitis in his knee and is questionable for Sunday’s game.
Samuels sat out part of Thursday’s practice. The team is expected to limit his midweek workload this season to preserve his knee following offseason surgery.
The Redskins also announced that quarterback Colt Brennan had surgery on Monday in Colorado on the torn labrum in his left hip. Brennan, who is on injured reserve, had a similar operation on his right hip last year. He’s expected to need three months of rehabilitation before resuming football activities.
