GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) – Having enough healthy players on the defensive line has been a challenge for the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers almost had to turn to the offensive line for reinforcements in their season-opening win Sunday at Philadelphia.
After having as few as four defensive linemen in practice this week, Green Bay is hoping to stay injury-free Sunday in the home opener against Buffalo.
The Packers lost former top draft pick Justin Harrell to a season-ending knee injury. Starting end Cullen Jenkins has a broken hand, though he’s expected to play against the Bills.
So are cornerback Charles Woodson (toe) and left tackle Chad Clifton (knee), who went through the full practice Friday for the first time this week.
